Try these DIY Crafts and projects:
DIY Floor Cleaners
I think it is safe to say that DIY floor cleaners will save you a ton of money, right?! After all many recipes for DIY floor cleaners use items, most likely, already have in your home. Now the question is, “how well will they clean”? Will they give the same results as the more expensive store-bought floor cleaners? I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the results…I certainly was…and simple to make!
Melted Crayon Art
This Melted Crayon Art tutorial is a wonderful art project for young and old alike. I have wanted to do this DIY abstract art project for a really long time. Finally, today was the day and I am so thrilled with the results of my 1st attempt! What do you think?
While I think it is not perfect I do think it is a great start to some fun and neat art work that I will proudly display! I did learn a few things as I went along. 1st and foremost…it can get very messy so be sure to extend your protected work area well beyond what you 1st think is enough. I can say I should have covered more area than I did. I also learned that I should color coördinate the crayons and not go for the miss match I went for in this piece.
I love this “manly handmade gift idea” …in this case I made these BBQ Gift sets for my brother and my brother-in-law. This masculine gift idea was so easy and a unique way to present an otherwise ordinary gift set. I made them go from incredibly boring and impersonal to a fun and exciting presentation that now says “Wow!” They are super easy to make and easy to adjust to your theme and gift set…I chose BBQ Sauce because these 2 guys love to cook. This could also be done with my hand painted wine glasses and a wine bottle too. For these particular guys gift I really only wanted to have the initial presentation to have the wow factor and I was not looking for a long lasting display item. I figure since these are all items I want my guys to use on a regular basis all components will be disassembled rather quickly.
Have you ever wanted to make an easy DIY Christmas Wreath but thought “there is no way I could make something so beautiful?” Well, let me tell you, I too, never knew how easy peasy it is to make a Wreath! This wreath shown is my very 1st attempt…and it only took about 30 minutes or so to make. Not to toot my own horn but I am very impressed with the final result…What do you think? I know I have a little creative blood in me but this is a project that ANYONE could do!
I have wanted to make my own DIY Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for some time now but just never got around to doing it. So today was the day! It looks like this is going to be one of those trial and error projects. Although I won’t say it was a disaster, by any means, but my wipes did not come out quite as good as I had imagined they would.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money or time to make your own stylish and simple bracelet…even if you aren’t the creative type!
If you are like me you have enough craft supplies to open up your own supply store. Which is why I created this Mod Podge crafts tutorial. Here is a great way to help destash some of those supplies and get organized at the same time…oh yeah and make it pretty too! Mod Podge crafts are a fun activity to do with the kids too! They just might want to tidy up their rooms with their new creations when they are done…DOUBLE BONUS, right!?!
