Getting Ready for Christmas…DIY Christmas Gifts

DIY Christmas Gifts —Easy Ideas You Can Try Too!

DIY Christmas Gifts are the absolutely best way to show someone you put time, thought and effort into their gift. I have decided to make this year the year of DIY Christmas gifts for my family and friends.  I have been busy gathering supplies and making all kinds of fun stuff to give my family and friends. This years DIY Christmas gifts include: a couple of poly mesh Christmas Wreaths, a handmade decorative Christmas basket, DIY Bath and Body Basket, Easy Beaded Bracelets and of course hand painting wine glasses. For a couple of the Guys I have created really cool looking cutting board/bbq sauce gift sets (See Below how you can easily make them too!). I have bought a few  items from some of my favorite Etsy shops, too (I’ll direct you to those awesome shops and show you what I bought…you just might like to get some of these items for your self too).

Even though these aren’t completely handmade I just love the uniqueness of the presentation that these will give.  Check these cool sets out…I’m pretty excited to give these away to my brother and brother-in-law…both are big bbq’ers:

I made this Christmas Wreath for my Sister-In-Law using poly mesh…first time ever making a wreath…not bad I think!

For my 2 sisters I made these gift baskets.  One is bath and body and the other is a Christmas themed decorative basket…I still have some last minute touches to put on both but you get the gist:

My husband wanted to give wine glasses to his co workers that are on his team so I was busy with paint wine glasses too.  Here are a few I painted:

I have lots of connections with some very talented artisans on Etsy.  Even tough I would have loved to have made all of my gifts my self this year sometimes you just don’t have the time or the ability so you have to go elsewhere.  Luckily for me I know people who can fill those gaps for me. In no particular order here are a few things I bought from my some of my buds on Etsy…if you like what you see be sure to visit their shops to check them out.

One Thing I really am not good at is sewing and knitting (yeah, ok that is 2 things!). So off to my friends at Etsy I go:

I bought a set of quilted pot holders and coasters from Carol’s Country Crafts and a crocheted loofa and facial scrubbies from Soft to Touch

How awesome are these:
